Actually nope. It’s up to the store’s policy. In New York women are allowed to walk around topless in public, but there are countless businesses that still say, “no shirt, no shoes, no service.” I probably wouldn’t, but if I wanted to kick a topless woman off my property, it’s going to happen.

The rep for target clearly stated that they have a pro-breastfeeding stance. Also, if it is legal to nurse in public where you live, then that would mean a store/business would be violating that law by having a no-breastfeeding policy.

Well, not exactly. My point is that breastfeeding isn’t a sexual act, but some men become sexually aroused by it. In fact, men become sexually aroused by many “non-sexual” things, like feet, and in the case of some Muslims, women’s faces. I’m saying that it is not the woman’s responsibility to cover up her entire body because someone might have a sexual thought about her (although this is exactly why some Muslim women are forced to wear burqas. I’m not responsible for your boner.

nobody would ever stop a hot mom in public from breastfeeding, the problem is nobody wants to see some 300 pound woman with acne and saggy tits breastfeeding her child, THEN I can see it being offensive in public, seriously. I am in fit shape and a few months pregnant, there is no reason for women to let themselves go and turn into some fat disgusting COW just because they have a baby. I plan to breastfeed but I’m not going to shove it in other’s faces and plan on pumping before going out.

just so everyone knows, i breastfeed my child in public all the time. they are my boobs, state law says that i am able to whip them out to feed my child. if you don’t like it, then fuck off & stay at home.

i wouldnt say nurse in publinc i dont think people raised to see that around in the open but i believe there should be a private room with chairs so a mom can nurse there

What a seriously ridiculous statement. It’s not even remotely the same thing and the fact that you think so is laughable. Breastfeeding Moms should be allowed (and are legally protected in most states) to feed their babies anywhere it would be acceptable to give a baby a bottle.
Sorry, but legally in Texas, she has every right to feed her baby wherever she feels appropriate. Target violated her rights. End of story.

Male nipples are so disgusting…the last time I looked at one, I was in therapy for a month. The issues I had to work through were so traumatic. Why do men have nipples in the first place…for some misguided sense of symmetry? But then again, why are we even discussing this non-issue when the polar ice caps are melting?
